Classic Mode is were its at.Īlso Project 8 is better than both. On top of just being a much more mechanically tuned game. 2 is just a more polished and more fun to look at game. Im basing this off of being a huge Tony Hawk fan, and having played them both just last summer. THUG 1 is a really drag to go back to with how the game looks (grey and bown), and by how openly empty some of the levels can feel. Allot of people rag on 2 for being very "jackass" but it was in actuality a more traditional Tony Hawk game that focused around great level design, expanding the combo system, and a vibrant art style. THUG 1 was more committed to its open world structure of talking to people for missions and having to get off your board allot since it was the new major change to the combo system. On top of that, its the largest selection of original levels from past Tony Hawk games. It also featured CLASSIC Mode which broke down every level in THUG 2 into a classic style 10 goal structure with 3 minutes to complete them. Platforms: Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox. If youre a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 18 Hours to obtain 100 completion. As much as people hate on THUG 2, it was probably the peak in terms of gameplay and mechanics. When focusing on the main objectives, Tony Hawks Underground 2 is about 7½ Hours in length.
